Introduction 

Thank you for your interest in the Equal Justice Works Class of 2025 Design-Your-Own Fellowship program.  

We encourage you to read through the resources available on our website before starting your application, particularly the Applicant Guide, Host Organization Guide and Frequently Asked Questions' document. Check out the resources posted here as you work through the application. 

Application Deadline 

Applications for the 2025 Design-Your-Own Fellowship are open until 11:59 pm Eastern/8:59 pm Pacific on September 10, 2024.   

All application components must be uploaded into the application, and the application submitted by the deadline, to be considered. Equal Justice Works will not accept any application components by email.

You as the applicant are responsible for submitting the application. The submitter's name, email address and candidate introductory information should be yours. Since the application is a collaborative process between you and the prospective host organization for your project, we encourage you to use Submittable's collaboration function to complete the application with a contact person at the host organization. 

We encourage you to submit your application before the deadline to ensure successful submission. Equal Justice Works will begin the review process after the September 10 deadline.  Extensions will not be granted; please plan accordingly.

Using Submittable 

• You will need to create a free Submittable account or sign in with Google or Facebook credentials to submit to these forms. 
• As you are completing your application, Submittable will automatically save your progress. You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the form at a later date. To retrieve your saved draft, please log into your Submittable account. 
• If anything changes with the information you submitted, please request to edit the submission. 
• Submittable works best on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported. For details on these browsers and Microsoft Edge, check out this article. Please make sure you are using a supported browser. 
• We will follow-up with you about your submission by email. Please be sure to safelist notification emails from Submittable and check the email you used to sign up for your Submittable Account regularly.  
• For portions of the application that your host organization will need to fill out, please refer to this Help Article for more information on collaboration in the Submittable platform.
